Future Pathways

The first few days have been alright , i still don't like to wake up early so that always a challenge in the morning. But i got up and did it the past eight days! I haven't missed one day. Which is really saying something for me . I think that coming here will help me alot , i think being here is gonna to give me my chance to graduate on time again . From being here i just want to do good and get good grades and make good choices.The rest of my high school carear looks fairly short , i think that being here will get me out as high school asap, and thats alright with me!

Should teens have a curfew?

Iowa city's has established strict rules for teens in the city, minors are not aloud out past 12. In my option that is pretty late! If Des Monies wanted to start talking about setting a curfew for the teens here , I don't think it would get a very positive reaction, but I say that because I am i teen i know how other's would react. So before they start trying to just smack do all These new rules for kids they might not get it . The teens need to be informed about this before adults start voting on it . The kids just need to be informed that people are not trying to take away there freedom they are just trying to make where you live safe for everybody!

Where i want to live?

If i couldn't live in Iowa i would want to like in new york city! Probably because its a big city and there is a lot of opportunity's there . And i just think that it would be cool to live there , the site's ,  the history would just make it an amazing place to live in, and i could go to the jersey shore! And meet Pauley D and that would be awesome1

Overcoming Fears...

My biggest fear that I overcame was probably the dentist , When i was little i had bad teeth and i would have to go ,what felt like to me, every day to the dentist . I hatede that man so much and i would cry every time my mom told me that i had to go , she would try to bribe me or trick me into going . Then to me the dentist was the monster that hid in my closet , but as i got older like everyone I relised that the dentist was just doing his job and I know now that its not that bad , I was just overreacting. Now I can go to the destinst with out fear because i know that they are just doing there job , there not out to get me . And i realise that the lame toothbrush and floss they used to give you when you were little was way not enough!

Herd in Iceland

This was in Iceland where ashort film was being made about  the historic herding of the prized Icelandic horse. Each year traditional herdsman take to the back country to round up thousands of horses, which have spent the summer grazing in the highlands. They look like regular wild horses if you didnt own one of them , you would have no clue that they were domestice animal's, just getting the whole summer free.

Write about your best learning experience (it didn't have to occur in school!) What made it so enjoyable?

My favorite learning expierience was in 5th grade when i learned how to play the harmonica , which is the greatest instrument ever . I loved it because no matter how bad you are at it , it always sounds good . So when my class had to play a concert not one of us new how to play it at all ,but we all acted like we did and it accuaclly sounded good.... kinda? well it did to us . And our music teacher was like What are you doing!?? then when we were done all our parrents were clapping and chearing and the teacher was like , wow .
So i guess that was just awesome , no one is good at the harmonica , everyone can play it.
